ImageAbuse can take many forms; mental/emotional abuse, physical abuse or threats thereof, and sexual abuse. Especially worrisome are child and elder abuse; the most vulnerable of populations.  Many adults may experience in their lives whether through an isolated incident or on a regular basis. Often devastating to the victim and those caring for the victim, those abused feel of shame, confusion, guilt, anger, and rage. Abuse is unacceptable; however many find it challenging to reach out to someone.  Sharing your situation is the first step toward moving forward with your life.  After learning abuse is NOT OKAY, you will be able to effectively process your emotions and free yourself from emotional pain.
