Gay and Lesbian Issues E-mail
ImageBeing Gay or Lesbian is challenging in a mostly heterosexual society, as a percentage of individuals don’t have the support network or unable to discuss their feelings with family and friends.  Feeling estranged or disconnected from friends and family, common issues include the struggle with one’s sexual identity, dealing with homophobia, “coming out”, feeling discriminated against or persecuted.  Our Care Counselors provide help for not only those who are homosexual, but parents, friends, and/or relatives struggling with related issues.  It is not uncommon for parents to experience feelings of “failure” with regard to their parenting, shame due to beliefs about homosexuality, or concern their child will face societal difficulties due to their sexual preference.  Relatives and friends may report feeling shocked, embarrassment, anger or confusion at the news.

Our Care Counselors at WeListen2you.Com are well trained in sexual, gay/lesbian, bisexual, and gender identity issues; offering a non-judgmental approach to help work through concerns, fears, feelings and questions.  A supportive Care Counselor will help foster greater understanding and acceptance of you and those you care about. How can I talk  with a Care Counselor?
