What is Phone Counseling?

 

Phone counseling provides people with the opportunity to talk with someone who listens and is supportive.  Our Care Counselors use various techniques designed to help clients cope with or improve their situation and relationships.

 

How long will I need counseling?

 

Each situation is different.  There is no set amount of time that can be prescribed to a particular issue.  The counselor together with the client can best determine if only one session, a few sessions, or a much longer period is required.

 

Do you need to have a mental illness to work with a counselor?

 

No.   In fact many people use professional counselors to help with deal with life’s everyday issues or even as a way for personal growth.  Often, small issues can be solved thereby avoiding potentially bigger problems.

 

How will I know if I need to contact a Care Counselor?


When you are facing an issue in which you need an objective opinion from a trained individual, drawing from life experiences to provide you with words of wisdom and encouragement, making you feel enlightened after speaking with a Care Counselor.

 

Are my phone calls confidential?

 

Every phone call conversation ever conducted with our Care Counselors and clients are confidential, private and anonymous. Your information and identity remain confidential and private. There are some exceptions where the counselor is required by law to report situations.

 

What if I need someone right away?

 

We are available at all hours, every day.  We have a distinguished reputation for answering your call within three rings. We are here for you.

 

How old do I have to be to call?

We require our clients to be over 18 years of age.

How long is the average call?

 

Whether it takes five minutes or five hours; your Care Counselors are here for you 24/7.

 

May I speak with the same Care Counselor?

 

Yes, you may speak with the same Care Counselor after your initial call to us.  Our care counselors are here to provide personalized attention to suit your needs.

 

How much does the average call cost?

 

Each call costs $2.99 per minute for trained, licensed and experienced Care Counselors.

May I refer a friend to my Care Counselor?

 

Yes, you may refer a friend.  Please click our refer-a-friend link below to send an email link to our site.

 

Can I make phone appointments with my Care Counselor?

 

Yes, you can make appointments when your counselor is on call. If you would like a set day and time, you may discuss this with your Care Couselor.

What are your hours of operations?

 

Our trained and experienced Care Counselors are available 24 hours, every day of the year.


What if my Care Counselor is unavailable at the time of my call?

 

All of our Care Counselors are trained and experienced licensed professionals who are more than capable of assisting you until your Care Counselor is available.
